You could keep it simple and maybe get creative and sing "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. It's safe in a pinch but it wont show how much you want the part.

You could go classic with something from the Music Man or "Anything Goes" from tah dah Anything Goes. That would show some depth.

Hit your library up for the soundtrack to something today and see if anything fits your vocal range. Don't be afraid to ask a librarian for help.

No offense to the above, but NEVER EVER sing a song from the show it's pretentious.
