Who else here has violated Yahoo guidlines?

I am sure that many have somehow violate Yahoo guidlines. How many of you get fed up. I have noticed that the far left scream free speech all of the time and say they have the right to say anything they want, but if you confront them then you are in violation. A person can defend terrorists and put down consevative values, but if a person confronts this lunacy then we are in violation. Yahoo is apparently run by hypocrites. I am not talking about foul language here. I realise it is their website and free speech doesn't apply here, so save the comment on that. But I will say that if I am in violation for what I said then every person that supports terrorists and all of the anti Israeli comments is in violation and should be reported for so called violation. As well as the far left who say derogatory words toward conservatives. So, maybe the people who are conservative should report the far left for their derogatory comments as well. Yahoo would not have time to violate everyone.

<Sigh!> Again, Yahoo does NOT do the violating on here. There is simply an automatic process that happens when abuse is reported. Bad enough reports, or enough of them, will automatically cause the question or answer to be removed. That's it. So, the liberals are blasted by the conservatives (yes, they are!) and the conservatives are bombed out by the liberals -- and we ALL get zapped by the abuse trolls who report for NO reason at all. It happens.

If you feel you have been improperly "violated", post your concerns to this forum:

    http://messages.answers.yahoo.com/answers/threadvi...

where they are attempting to post a response within 24 hours and to send such things for reconsideration. Points HAVE been returned, as reported on here:

But here's the problem: anyone can file an abuse report for ANY reason.

If I so desired, I could file a report against your very question, for, let's say, "Insulting other participants". Kind of vague, right?

(And I could even file for something even more awful, like "chatting" or "adult content".)

The system, being automatic, pushes this right through without human oversight to vouch for the validity of the report.

You get ticked off, for you see nothing wrong with your line of inquiry. I, being the pernicious troll that I am, skip merrily through the forest until i find someone else to violate.

If only Yahoo! Answers were as consistent as you suggest. I've been given violations for such innocuous topics as the weather, world history, and even my favorite Beatles album. It's a madhouse.

Ditto! I'm the same way you are on this, man.It isn't just Yahoo!, but everywhere, is getting that way nowdays. If I go out and call a black person the N word I get shot down everywhere I go but if ICE-T blurts out at an awards ceremony in Hollywood that "I'm gonna rob all you white mother F___er's and I'm gonna take all you white bitches home and screw you!" he has and did get away with it because nobody has the damn balls to talk people in his category down anymore.

  • I had a stalker whose account was never cancelled, but me fighting back and telling her to quit it publicly plus posting the hate mail and wishes of death to my children got ME deleted. Go figure. I'm thinking of taking this to the media once I have enough evidence of how Yahoo is acting the same way it did with the chat rooms. Remember how media coverage forced them to fix the rooms? Who's with me? Thumbs up if you are!

i do not decide on to sound too mean yet examine the first change and tell me the position it says "Yahoo solutions" in there. it really is like this: contained in the U.S. we've freedom of speech. contained in the U.S. Yahoo has freedom of speech. that doesn't mean we've freedom of speech ON Yahoo solutions! not in any respect did, not in any respect will. that is THEIR internet web site. they could submit what they decide on. they could have community guidelines or not have them. they could maintain on with their very personal guidelines or not keep on with them. they could decide on no matter if Yahoo solutions even exists or not. in case you imagine your answer grow to be unfairly deleted you ought to convey it up with the individuals at Yahoo. regardless of the indisputable fact that it has not something by any skill to do with the first change.

I report any comment that is insulting. But those people are not in the majority in some categories so they go unsinged
