Weird place to misplace items.?

Have you ever lost an item only to find it later in a very odd place? I had lost a ring the day I had bought it and I had searched everywhere to find it. I had given up. The next day I made a sandwich and the ring was in between two slices of bread. Do any of you have any interesting stories? Please tell:)

Update:

I was making a sandwich and since my fingers are skinny, it had slipped off without me knowing.

I once found my son burried in my wife. Yea, you probably did find your kids in the same place at birth.

Actually, that hasn't happened, since I don't have a wife or son, but it did seem odd.
