What part do I need to replace for my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with AZC?

My blower stopped working suddenly. The dealership says I need a new AZC controller. I ran the AZC diagnostic myself and only came up with code 52. I think this is unrelated to my problem. Do you? I don't trust the dealership after they told me that installation of a AZC controller was a 6.5hr job. I removed it in less than 10 minutes. How can I know if the blower is bad? Do you think I need to replace the AZC just for that one code? If it only indicates a problem with the vent doors, then I choose not to replace it since I hear them work all the time - and I didn't hear them opening or closing at the very moment the blower quit. It seems like the code only indicates the door opens too far. What about the blower motor controller?

Did you check the fuse? If the blower was going bad most likely you would have heard it. I would also think that if your fan wasn't comming on due to your azc, then it would flash a code for that as well (35? or 36?). Check the fuse, and electrical connections leading to it.

Also, was wondering if you got your information from here:

1999 jeep grand cherokee with A.T.C ( automatic temperature control ) has problems with blower resister and the harness get melted which cause the blower motor to stop working. The other problems they have also is with the blend door motor or the mode door motor. Those motor contorols the air temp which is the blend motor and the other controls where the air comes though def. vent. floor...etc alot of time the door tabs that goes into the motors breaks off because they are made of plastic, which might set off a code.
