    Skynard are NOT a metal band!!! Neither is Led Zeppelin for that matter.

    Best? Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Venom, Slayer, Judas Priest... doesn't matter. Enjoy it all!!!

    Lynyrd Skynyrd is not a metal band. Hard southern rock.

    Motorhead is a pretty good choice. I think Metallica or Black Sabbath are probably a little bit better.

    Led Zeppelin was a great hard rock band, not truly metal.

    Tool!! Let's face it, every member of the band is great with his own insturment, their lyrics are poetic and have layered meanings, and they have some great artwork in their albums. They get an A+ in every department.
