Should I tell my ex that I am no longer interested in being friends? I told her I would try but I really want nothing to do with her. Should I just tell her that or should I just ignore her and let her get the hint?

Be honest. It may hurt her but then you won't be stringing her along. But try to do it nicely as possible. There is no reason to go out of your way to hurt her.

ignore her and hope she get the hint. if she dont you are going to have to tell her gently that its just not a comfortable situation. you should ignore her first because that avoids confrontations most times but sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind

This is a toughy, but you have to do both. Tell her you are going on with your life and then do it, by avoiding her, not encouraging her and so forth. She obviously still loves you and wants a relationship. But she is your "ex" for a reason. Do what you gotta do to go on with your life.

tell her because she would feel worse being ignored and not understanding what she did wrong
