Well the legal mexicans in my town are ashamed of the illegal ones who trash the low income housing and party all hours. The kids in school have a hard time dealing with the illegal kids because they steel and try to start fights causing ruckus for the teachers and students. They cram into the hospital with government medical cards,so I have to wait forever to see the dr. and they are rude in the grocery stores because they wont move out of the way they take up the whole isle with all there kids,if you say excuse me they speak like they want to take your head off!And they drive like freaking maniacs,2 utah familys have been hit by illegal drunks killing 1/2 the family that I know of. There is nothing positive about illegals, they cost tax payers billions.

    Yes and and No.

No: Overall I think the illegal problem is way out of hand. Our area is at least 60% immigrant and an estimated half of that, thus about 30% of our population is illegal. So whatever went wrong at the border is someone not doing a good job. There is so much political unity and pressure between the legals and illegals that they carry the weight to create sanctuaries, etc. And as far as I know all anti-illegal state laws voted in by the public have been overturned.

Yes: However, ICE is working with local police to round up CRIMINAL illegals (that is illegals committing other crimes like drugs, theft, etc.). And the US is now requiring passports to enter. I think these are two very good compromises. Doing something is better than doing nothing.

I live in New Mexico home of the illegal alien owned democratic party. So the State Government encourages them to come here. Guess that is as good of a way to deal with them as any short of laying AP mines along the border.

Yes I feel that Arizona is doing a great job.Far better than our do- nothing government is doing.

Many states are having to provide to its residence, protection thru laws, that should be furnished by our federal government.Over 500 new laws, proposed laws and city ordinances have been acted upon by many different states.I think the state officials seem to know more just what the people really want, so they are acting on it.I think its great,I am very proud of my state of Arizona.Could it be better yes of course it could but they are doing far more than most states are.

Considering the fact that I cannot drive down the street or go to the park without spotting hoardes of them I would say NO.

Considering that I just had to wait 6 hours in the emergency room to have my hand stitched up while doctors administered to little anchors with runny noses I would say NO.

Not at all! Horrible job as a matter of fact.

They seem to get better healthcare (or free care) that residents of the state who are taxpaying residents dont get.

They may work but usually under the table. They come, have a baby and stay.

    Hi there!

Well It depends on who we are stopping and who we allow! I guess it would be fine to allow a person to settle-down in a place which (s)he likes! But that also means that people, who are threat in some form or the other to the society of a region, are undoubtedly be banned from entering! Hopefully there's more Good than Bad in the world!

NO! My neighborhood is turning into a barrio. Our Republican governor talks tough, but actually enables illegal immigration.

my state does a poor job dealing with everything. we don't have a bad immigration problem but we do have a problem with our public officials spending our money poorly and probably illegally. (i live in louisiana!)
