Probably not. Unless you knew ( or they take the time to find out ) that he's a previously convicted felon or has a warrant.
Trust me. I work in law enforcement, we call ICE all the time and RARELY do they ever show up to take custody. Unless they have committed a felony, we have to just cite and release.

Here in Houston, they do conducts raids fairly often. A few weeks back, they went to a Waste Management Plant and pulled out over 100 illegals for deportation. The only way they would go after one person is if that person had outstanding warrants. Or, you would have to prove that the illegal is breaking the law. Like the person above said, they just don't have the resources to chase down every illegal immigrant.

No, he will not. First, they receive a lot of calls from disgruntled exes and so on, and sometimes they are not true.
Second, even if it's true, they just do not have enough resources to chase individual illegal immigrants across the country.
They will send him a letter, asking him to remove himself from the country. If he does not, they will put his name into the computer. If in the future he has some conflicts with police or similar, he will be deported (or even then may not be).

Call your local police department, they can provide you with the necessary information. If they can't help you, they can at least give you a phone number. Or, go to www.ice.gov, the official government website of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, for more information.

Depends on case of caurse.
Immigration officers are really busy, so they will not react to some minor stuff, like.
"I think there is an illegal immigrant ext to my appartment".
Enforcement of immigratuion is really bad in US.
However if the case is a major one, then there is a slim chance.
Give us more details.

well the truth is going to feel hopeless...If you called Inmi on someone NOT that person won't be deported trust me....They really don't care, when they should care...Why? first their excuse for INS not to deport that illegal is because is just one person...And second excuse is because they say they don't have to many officers to go and investigate if that person is living here illegal... Etc. I can tell you so many excuses..I almost forgot they say they don't work and your area rtc..And that they don't work at night..Name it to many excuses for INS not to do anything at all...Learn from an expert...

He may not be deported, but it will go on his record. Any more than one time, and that individual will be a felon. Then, they start having problems. If he/she has already been caught, it's possible they will be imprisoned for an immigration violation.

If he is found to be illegal he will be deported.
