Not as good as it used to be.

A majority of the younger people today want everything handed to them. I see it more and more. just read the questions here on Yahoo. "How do I get rich" "What job pays lots of money"

These things take time, you have to prove yourself in the workforce. Nobody is going to hand you a CEO job just because you went to college for the last 10 years.

The older generation went to work and did what they had to do to put the food on the table. It may not have been glamorous, maybe they didn't have 50 people working below them but the put in a days work for a days pay.

With the Internet, there is too much distraction in the workplace, complacency among employees, people trying to do as little as possible to get by.

The biggest distraction 25 yrs ago was the newspaper being read at lunch time.

Now I'm being a little over the top in my examples above but I think were going to be in trouble in the US in a few years when the current high school generation makes it into the workforce. Just ask a teacher what there classes are like the past 5 years and the steady declines they are seeing in desire to learn.
