Umm - it sounds like you are asking, "What is the best site for pictures?"
There are literally hundreds of photo sites out there from the good, the bad to the ugly.
Sites such as gettyimages.com offer tons of royaltee free images that are found in many categories such as sports, editorials and creative.
images.yahoo.com (images.google.com) is another way to search for general images. However these may be protected by copyrights and be illegal for you to use under certain conditions.
webshots.com offers another community based image site that are popularly used for computer desktops.
Not sure what else you are looking for. But these are a start.
