How much does it cost to call Panama from the U.S.? (I have AT&T)?

My brother is in a hospital in Panama and I've been making tons of phone calls and was wondering if anyone knew how much per minute I'm paying. Thanks!

Way too much money.I call my husband every day using two dollar calling cards. If you are calling someone's house or office,it will give you an hour.If you are calling a cell phone,it will only give you a half hour or less.

Its very expensive by AT&T, buy a cheap calling card as the person above said or go to a store and get the $2.00 calling card, you can talk about an hour with your brother, because you are calling to a hospital in Panama. If you call to a cellphone in Panama, it is much expensive, so its better to call to the number of the hospital and they get you to the room of your brother.

    Good Luck

The calling card is the answer for you .

I was in a hospital in Panama as well . Gorgas Army Hospital is what it was called then ,but I'm not sure what they call it now .

I hope your brother recovers from whatever is ailing him !!

    God Bless !!!

I agree, AT&T is very expensive! Probably $1-$1.50 per minute!

I call family in Panama almost every day and use a calling card at 3 cents per minute.

Honestly, it would be faster for you just to call up AT&T and ask them what you have been charged for for these calls instead of taking the word of random internet users that have no idea what plan you have.

I would suggest doing that, and if it is over 3 cents per minute (which i'm sure it is), think about purchasing a cheap calling card.

I don't know the answer but my friend in the States call me using prepaid cards. They said it's a lot cheaper.
