They don't see it as a waste if the tax dollars are going into their pockets... also the pockets of their friends, relatives and supporters.

Well, we have wasted a lot of them, but you should get your information from better sources. Yahoo will only print news stories that are critical of the Bush Administration, and you can't trust biased sources.
In reality, the tax cuts initiated by Bush from 2002-2004 have generated record amounts of revenues and despite Congress spending money like drunken sailors, we actually have more money to spend and the annual budget deficit has shrunk considerably.
Bush is coming close to something Clinton couldn't do without shutting down the government--a balanced budget. And despite the idiot liberals who are calling it "accounting tricks" fail to tell you that we're ahead of schedual in reducing the deficit.

And Dems throwing money away on illegal immigrants is better? Or Nancy Pelosi's jet airliner isn't a waste? Dems also waste so much money on 'waste of space' welfare moochers that can go out and get jobs.

For the same reason Democrats do...it isn't there money it is the tax payers. We need to hold both parties responsible when they waste our money.
