Why cant Jews, Christians, and Muslims get along? They all believe in one God?

Most Jews, Christians, and Muslims in the world get along just fine.

It is usually just a very few of each of all three religions that twist their individual religious teachings to create hate and discord.

It is best when:

+ Mainstream Jews rein in wayward Jews.

+ Mainstream Christians rein in wayward Christians.

+ Mainstream Muslims rein in wayward Muslims.

With love in Christ.

As the saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt.

Ask many Christians, and they'll tell you that Allah and the Christian God aren't the same being. Then they'll say something about Muhammad marrying his 13-year-old cousin Myra Gale Brown or whatever, and the Muslims will counter that at least Allah didn't sleep with Mary, like God apparently did, or else how did Jesus show up, and they'll point out that it's kinda funny to call yourselves monotheists if you worship a three-for-one deal, and then it tends to degenerate and before long someone's putting an entire town to the sword or salting earth or blowing themselves up and everyone's blaming America for being too Christian or not Christian enough and everyone wants the Holy Land, which is ridiculous, because why would anyone want Israel when they could have a nice, pretty place like Fiji?

Look closely and a lot of the fights are within the religions too... Orthodox/Conservative/Reform, Catholic/Orthodox/Protestant, Shi'a/Sunni/Sufi, and on and on.

Whether or not it's one God, it's more than one person, and that's enough to start an argument.

Jews and Christians seem to get along quite well. It is the Muslims who are the odd mens out.
