I know you can count child care and such, but what about the money I give for my child to eat lunch?

Ok, let's say you go to lunch at work, by yourself, no business meeting. Can you deduct your lunch cost? NO! Same thing for your kid. Unless you have a little Dakota Fanning running around and are having business lunches with famous producers then of course you cannot deduct lunch money.

No, it is not currently deductible, but it is counted towards the money you provided towards your child for determining whether you provided more than 50% of the support for the child.

    No, sorry, no deduction there.
