I guess it would be.......... not looking for the answer on the computer for starters. LOL! I have to fight with myself with this all the time!! Finally I tell myself that once it's done I can find something else to procrastinate over. Let's face it, no one wants to be known as the procrastinator! So, use that as your motivation. I do! I also listen to my favorite music to help pass the time as I go on with whatever crappy task I have. Try changing your mind set. It works for me when I'm not too lazy!! ;)

    Two tips:

    1. Make a list of what you are to get done for the day. Check them off as you finish. You'd be surprised how good that feels.

    2. Pace and reward yourself. Commit to finish one or two things in a specific time period, then reward yourself by doing something you enjoy, like a video game, TV, a book, or a bath. Then, at a specified time, get back at it.

Get up and do what it is you are suppose to do without thinking twice. There lies the problem. Or you can just continue to wait till life passes you by.

There are a whole load of books on that subject in the self-help section of the public library--does no one go there anymore?

Just try waiting until tomorrow, maybe the answer will come to you. Just kidding. The best way is to just get to work on whatever it is, it can be hard but just keep pressing until you get done.

You have to decide that you don't want to continue to use that "crutch" for not getting things done. Whatever it si that you need to do....you have to just decide to "do it!"and then get off your duff and "DO IT!". Sorry, but there is no other answer, and there is no point in candy coating it.

Just always remember to "procrastinate now!!" ;-)

divide a task into smaller task and take it step by step...do the easy stuff first, and then, you'll feel more confident and successful enough to move on to the harder stuff.
