ohh, you know, I think you could do both... it would be really cool. Just go crazy anf buy whatever you like, and it will all fit together in its own way. :)

Sorry i have not any website suggestions yet I do have an elementary answer. you've already got the perfect heritage on your tropical topic. All you want now must be the addition of a few very colourful prints of tropical vegetation like large pink hibiscus vegetation, orchids, palm timber and/or a tropical sunset some complimentary throw pillows and bamboo baskets would tie it mutually. A coconut scented candle and shutters on your domicile windows would deliver you actual to the Bahamas. i'm hoping this helps.

Go tropical, you're already half way there and you can buy a fun plant in the palm family :) I like lucky bamboo too, but that has nothing to do with the beach. Maybe get a fish tank too. If you can find a good muralist a beach scene would be cool, or if you're artistic give it a whirl.

Tropical because of your bed i would get some exzotic pillows like cheetah prints or pink polkadot and have a bamboo table if you have a small lamp and you put a light purple hankerchif then it will kinds glow if you go for curtains i would do a yellow or lime green a wood wardobe would go nicely candles are nice you can put em on a glass table and also on the glass table put flowers on it. I like tropical because its warm and inviting yet sounky and wild!

Recommend tropical. Wicker, rattan type chair or a papasan chair, tall Areca Palm in a wicker basket for the corner, candles, accesories that make you think of tropical places. Pier 1 Imports, World Marketplace are good places to start at for accesories.

    why don't you do both?

you should make your bedroom have more of a tropical feeling, you could put a tropical looking tree and maybe a nice wall paper or something like that, you could put a picture of a sunset to give it that tropical feeling, maybe even a fish tank

or make more of a ocean feeling, you could put a bottle with sand and sea shells in it and maybe some of those candles with the sea shells in it too

i definitly think tropical..Its much cleaner looking and refreshing!!you can get different blues like a nice light blue rug or tan like the sand..some bamboo beads!!to hang some where in you room and shear curtains like white & blues you can also get a beautiful celling fan (Bamboo) you have to have a faether down white goose comforter on your bed for more fluff and whiteness going on...you should do your bathroom fun and bright lime greens and blue to make you feel happy when you wake up or before you go to bed colors make a big difference with you moods so go bright and tropical!!!oh and candles, plants(palm tree ect sheer scarfs, pillows.nice size flat screen tv,and green light bulbs to turn on at night.........hope you like my advice..

if it were my room i would make it into an island oasis by painting everything a soft sky blue and then get an artist to airbrush a scene on the wall of a pretty tropical scene. i would make a canopy for my bed and have furniture made out of wicker and table tops made out of glass. i would also get a hammock or a swing depending on the size of your room.

Do the bathroom in a "pond" theme.

Paint bullrushes, shrubs, marsh grass, wild flowers and frogs.... on the bottom 2/3rds of the walls and blue sky, with birds, dragonflys, bugs....

Use green towels, and bath mats, or blue fot water.

    Have fun with it.

try a tropical beach theme, cool azure blue water, white sand, tropical plants just off the beach, palms, rum cocktails, hot beach bodies..........etc
