Have any of you tried Dermablend?
Hi all...hope that you had a great weekend...wondering if any of you have ever tried Dermablend to cover your tattoo? If yes, does it work well? Planning to audition for a play sometime and I just want to know about the product moreso in case I need to cover my tattoo up because the "character" does not have a tattoo.
Thank you much!

Dermablend can do the job if you get the right color mix and learn how to properly apply it. There are many tattoo concealer strength cover products on the market. It is best to have a professional select the color and teach you how to apply it. If the color is wrong once you get into daylight, it is their fault and you can exchange it, etc.
The biggest problems are blending iout the color and setting it. You can't skimp on the fine milled setting powder. This is the only thing that will keep it for any length of time.
Don't spend the money on expensive removers, either, especially if you're not going to be using it daily. You can use vaseline or baby oil to remove it.

Hi! I have never used it myself, but I knew a woman who did. I think she actually was the model shown on the box back in the 80's. Anyway, she swore by it. Also, I seem to remember some kind of news piece on TV about it, and apparently it really works to hide skin discolorations, etc. The woman I knew wore it so she didn't have to wear hose. It is known for covering birthmarks, so I'm sure it would work for a tattoo. I say it's worth a shot -- an inexpensive way to boost your chances at an audition. Best of luck!

Go to the cosmetic store and look for cream blemish covers....They come in green, yellow, purple, beige, and white. What i did was i took the white and dabbed it all over my tattoo...then put some concealer over it and then translucent loose powder...It wasnt visable at all and it stayed covered 8 hours.....not bad and cheaper than that stuff....
good luck

Yaw.... I don't like the way it tastes, though.
