Is it true that children can see spirits better then older people?

i saw a preview for a movie thats pretty much about this subject and it got me thinking about a TV show that i saw along time ago about how children might beable to see ghosts or spirits alot better then people who are older (over the age of 7 i think) and how people dont pay attention to kids when they say theres a monster in their closet or under their bed but sometimes when they really get scared that its possible they acctually saw something. is it true they can see spirits better then us? (us being older people)

Update:

yea i saw anouther thing on tv where a kid that was barly 4 years old and had nightmares about being in a plane crash during WW2 and that his best friend was shot down earlier and he even said his full name. when the parents looked up the name it was a acctual WW2 pilot that served in the pacific and was shot down and killed when he crashed into a mountain on alittle island. kinda like what the kid said

    ABSOLUTELY.

The reason is because they see the world as it really is. When they get to be 7 - 10 years old their parents convince them it was their imagination, and when their friends don;t see similar things; they was to fit into the social norm, ans they stop seeing them.

    Hello! Merry Meet!

Yes-i DO believe that children and animals can 'see' what some of us 'older' folk cannot..Personally, I believe that that have innocence and their perceptions of things have NOT been hindered or influenced by 'environment' and other factors. We are all born with natural 'psychic' ability to a degree (can u imagine if we FOSTERED the 9/10's of our brain's capability that we DON'T USE??!!) At a very young age, if these abilities, experiences, etc. are not nurtured, they become "lost" or 'buried' and then, unfortunately, 'clouded' by society's influence, etc. and then, perhaps, unfortunately, forgotten....(if 'u don't use it, u'll lose it'...)

As adults, we have 'forgotten' this ''innocence'' and the ability to look at things with an open mind, without clouded judgement. Prejudicism and skepticsm is TAUGHT, children are not born with those abilities, that is why it is important to 'pay attention' to what they are telling you, even though it may be just a case of imagination, to the child it is REAL and should be validated for that child's self-worth and you will also be fostering self-esteem and enabling the child to develop a healthy attitude of self worth and all that exists in his/her environment. I am not just a solitaire pagan but an early childhood educator as well. If anything, children can HELP YOU and perhaps reinstate your 'open-mindedness' so that the faeries and other unworldly beings will show themselves to you as well. (If anything, u can at least experience a sense of wonderment vicariously and have a "taste" of remembering that 'innocent' feeling!!

(I hope that helps, i kno i am rambling as it is very late here! lol)

    blessed be!

(PS: Never say 'never'; AND don't let the elderly fool u either! In fact, pay heed to their wisdom and the most fortunate have made a 'transition' in their lives to the next 'level' so to speak and have learned from their experiences to regain lost perceptions, or developed to new level of heightened 'awareness' and 'sight'.)

Look up about Drumvalo Melchizedek. He wrote "the ancient secret of the flower of life" He talks about how we at some point had a 3rd eye (allowing us to see in another deminsion) and as we get older it was blocked by other things around us keeping us from being able to see. If you ever have heard of Tool (the band). they have a song forty-six and 2. That song has a lot to do with this. You should really check into it. it's very interesting even if you don't believe in it.

The reasoning behind this theory is that children don't sensor themselves, they don't let what other people say is real cloud what they see. But I think the age limit would be a lot younger than 17, more like 8 or 10

Yes because they have not been tainted by all the false knowlege that older people surround them with. The don't brush things off as a dream or their eyes playing tricks. Animals are also super sensitive to spirits.

yes, we have 6 senses 1 which is esp. or whatever you choose to call it. We are not taught to develop that sense, so eventually most of us lose that ability (it becomes dormant)

. Little children are still unimpressionable, so they know things and see things and believe things.Never scold a child or frighten

him if he tells you things that seem strange.(I think most of us

know when our children are lying)

Ask them about their experiences this helps to develop that sense. Just don't frighten them when questioning.

My sister has some power, I had a few visions that came true.

I would dearly love to develop more of this sense. I can also see

    auras.

    It is a wonderful experience.

I think it's true. I can remember when i was younger i used to see people that no one else could see. It was really scary and everyone thought that i was nuts. I stopped seeing things when i turned 10. I don't know if it was just my imagination or i was really seeing spirits.

Yes its true as they have not been fed the garbage that builds up and blocks your ability to do the same.
