Where can I get good sushi in LA? With kids?

Hide (hee-dei) Sushi on Sawtelle is good for kids, it's small so tends to get a bit crowded.

another fun (cheap) place is Kaiten Sushi at the Olympic Collection at Sawtelle & Olympic, 2nd floor. I always see kids running around in there.

There's also Sakura on Centinela Avenue just north of Culver Blvd.

I know this is on the other side of LA- actually in Pasadena... but Sushi Afloat on Colorado is a fun place. The sushi goes around on a little river and you can choose the boat you want to eat. It's fun because the plates are cheap and the kids are entertained with the boats that go around... they can even choose which one they want.

Oh, my God!! L.A. has the best sushi! Both my girls started eating sushi very young and in L.A., everywhere I took them from very fancy places to not no fancy, they always welcomed kids. Look in the phone book, there are literally hundreds of places to choose from. Go to the Irvine Ranch for very casual dining as well as shopping.

Todai is a seafood buffet, and they have pretty good sushi. I always fill myself up when I go there. I'm pretty sure you could find a location by using their website

I used to live off of Sawtelle they had a lot good ones there.
