You state for the offense of "domestic violence" which is essentially an "add on" to a specific offense such as "harassment" or "trespass" etc.
Because of your clean past...it most cases you'd most likely see a payment of court costs and fines, any restitution for "injuries" received meaning if there are medical expenses or property damage, and probation for a period of time which is often the time it takes to pay the court costs and fines.
Additionally, there will most likely be an order from the court to discontinue any contact which means you cannot come within a certain distance or telephone the victim. Should you violate those terms you can be found in "contempt of court" and face additional penalties.
Best wishes!

It may depend on what you did. If you neither hit nor touched her, was it verbal violence? Or are you just being coy - maybe you didn't touch her but the big plank of wood that you were holding did? Sounds very strange, and not at all nice.
