Insensitivitity of political leadership towards intrests of common people, was the major reason of partition. The leadership (ie Mr M K gandhi Jinnah and nehru) was more concerned for international recognition and fullfillment of their ambitions. They were not concerned about precious innocent lives. They were not concerned about the immovable properties earned by several generations of Hindus. They were only worried about Prime ministership.
No where in the world Public has been asked to move out when rulers change. The most cruel dynasities of world had also recognised the rights of life and properties to common men. But Jinnah and Mr Nehru went ahead with founding nations on dead bodies of Hindus
