The $25 gets you an unlimited access to Carfax for 1 (ONE) month. A single report is $20, so the $25 is worth it. I've used Carfax before, they're pretty good. I don't think there are any sites that offer free reports, I mean they have to make money somehow, right?
Like I said, $25 is definitely worth it, because you can use it as many times as you want within that one month period!

If you buy it from a dealer, the will give you a free car fax! However, there are no sites that offer a free vehicle history report.
