Forum for moms?

What do you usually look for when joining a forum for moms? I had been wanting to create one for awhile now and I finally decided to go ahead and do it. I just wanted some tips on what other moms look for in an online community. I know that I tend to get "lost" in larger communities so I wanted mine to be smaller and more of a "tight knit" group of friends.

    hello...personally I like Modernmom.com's forum...I'm always looking for advice on this and that. What I would like to see on a forum is easy recipes...deals for shopping...things that just make it easier for us and our kids...good luck! Let me know what happens with ur forum
