Could someone please tell me how to write the name Michael in Gaelic?
I will be getting a Celtic love knot tattoo in the next few days and I really want to have the name Michael put above it. It is personal and private for me so I don't want people to know it says Michael. Can anyone write it in Gaelic for me? I would really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, you won't have much luck keeping it secret, as the Irish for Michael is.......Micheál. Pronounced mee-hawl, but spelt roughly the same. Sorry, that's just the way it goes.

Gaelic is typically written in latin letters, so... it would still look like Michael, perhaps with just a slightly different spelling. You could try Omniglot.com for some suggestions on other things you could try.

The name Michael is written 'Mícheal' (pronounced Me-hall) in Irish so it's not very different from the English spelling, just an accent on the letter 'i' and the 'ae' reversed.

I don't know how to write the name Michael in Gaelic, but I can write it on different language:
Chinese Traditional form: 邁克爾;
Chinese Simplified form: 迈克尔;
Korean:마이클;
Japanese:ミハエル;
That's all I know, hope it can help...
