The rule of thumb is: Healthy for you, healthy for your hamster.
If you want to give your hamster different foods terrific! The sky's the limit. Get in the habit of saving a bite of your healthy meals and sharing it with your hamster. Just be sure to remove any uneaten portions after a few hours so they don't spoil. You'll soon learn that your hamster has food preferences when you start offering him a variety.
Here are a few suggestions that my hamsters love (I am a show breeder and have well over 100): spinach, cucumbers, apples, carrots, grapes, scrambled eggs, brussel sprouts, etc.. I will give them leftover pasta, pancakes, rice, cornbread, anything!
One fun thing I give them is peanut butter and/or honey smeared in the bottom of a baby food jar. You should see them cram themselves in there to lick out every bit of it. They get a bit messy but that's the part that makes them even cuter to me.
I feed my hamsters 3 different vegetables and 1 different fruit each day. I've never had a single problem doing this. The only thing that I've never feed them is iceberg lettuce though I really wouldn't expect a problem from feeding it to them. There's hardly any nutritional value in iceberg lettuce though. I do feed my hamsters citrus without a problem. I've fed oranges, grapefruit and pineapples. Some don't like them, other love them.

Sure. Feed her a little. Feed her a variety of stuff. Just dont go overboard on one thing. Dont only feed her cabbage. Feed her lettuce, feed her carrots, feed her hamster food/pellets.

I fed my hamster cabbage and she died. But then, I got my hamster 20 years ago so I guess she could have died from old age.

yes but any old fruit or vegetable left in cage over night needs to be cleaned out so it don't make the hamster sick....also don't feed them too much of it cuz they may develope diareah...
Good Luck!

think about her not being able to burp or throw up. cabbage causes gas in the stomach in most cases. if she is tolerating it then i'd ask your vet how much is going to be to much.
