Dateless for Prom?
I don't have a date to my senior prom, and there are no guys in my grade who would go with me that I'd want to go with. I wouldn't have a problem going stag, except that all 5 girls in my limo & after-prom party have dates, so before and after prom I'd be the only dateless girl. A couple of them are taking juniors to the prom as friends, and I'm not sure if I should do that too or not. I have one guy friend who I like a lot as a friend and think is attractive (even though we would never go out). But we're not THAT close, and I'm not sure how well he'd get along with my other friends. Another guy is a little bit less attractive and he's also two years younger than me (he skipped a grade) but I think he'd fit in with my friends more. Or I could go stag. I don't even know if either of the guys would be able to go with me. What should I do?

well.. from experience, don't go with someone that you don't think would go well with your friends. but me and 3 girls went together our senior prom and had a blast. dateless, you don't have to make sure they are having fun..go by yourself, you are guaranteed to have fun with your girls even if they do have dates.

hey.. i think you shouldnt worry about trying to get a date for the prom! who cares what others think! if you have a date then you have a date! If you dont then you dont. i think whats the point stressing over getting a date for one night.. and dont think of yourself as desperate and dateless! think of yourself as single and lovin it! however if you really want to have a date for the prom then.. see if there is ANY guys that you would like to take as a friend just to have a good time..
well i hope it helped a bit..:S sorry i rabbled on a bit!
xo
good luck!!

It's not that important to have partners for the prom these days. I had a niece who had trouble finding a partner tall enough for her, so she went without a partner and had a ball. The bright side of not having a partner is that you can dance with whoever you want to all night.

Go with a freshman/softmore they would be happy to go with you. It doesn't matter if you don't want to "date" go as friends.
