Can we all stop for a minute and give our respect and gratitude?

for any of our troops who might be logged on here?

I refrain from any political statement and want everyone of you to know that I support you and want you to return home safely and quickly. Godspeed to you fine soldiers!

And a firm salute to those who have already served!

Update:

This was inspired by jpferrier and his answer to "What do you think of this?" asked by frog. This category.

Thank you sir, this is something that I really respect. I'll be leaving for Iraq in a couple of days and I really appreciate this. I also just want to say: I want everyone on here, reguardless of political views, research everything that is said on the television. treat as you are the jury (innocent until proven guilty). Prove and disprove covered media. It's our job as American citizens to do this.

In response to dogs message, I'm a liberal

I agree. My husband is currently serving in the middle east for the second tour. Show some love for our soldiers over there. It means alot to them to know that the people back home care!

Troops are great. Government is a corrupted joke. The two are certainly different, and it's time everybody acknowledged it.

I am 100% against this unConstitutional war, but I support our soldiers 1000%. You guys who wear that uniform are loved, respected, and greatly missed.

And whoever gave the thumbs down to Robin L. should be ashamed of themselves!

I agree!! But what I posted wasn't in no way to offend anyone on here It was an article that was emailed to me. And I simply titled it "what do you think of this" It was taken out of context and I apologize for that. I was judged by jp because of this article and was called ignorant, that's not o.k. He has no idea who I am, what I believe or my intelligence level. But I emailed him and I hope that we have come to an understanding.

My sincere gratitude goes out to all of our fine servicemen, who protect us as we lay in our nice warm beds. And it is my prayer that you come back home to us swiftly. May the Lord be with you. Amen.

    AMEN

Please pray for the families of loved ones killed too. My neighbor just got killed over there on Presidents day. He was only in his early 20's. I am scared to death because my 18 year old son is suppose to be going over there within the year.
