What about the NBA allstar game for 2008?

The head of the NBA players assc. says he will take the NBA to court if nesc. to move the allstar game away from New Orleans next year because he says that N.O. couldn't handle the crowd. For as long as I can remember N.O. has been hosting some of the biggest events with crowds way larger than would show up for the allstar game. Just last week it held Mardi-Gras and had several hundred thousand people in town for a couple of weeks. Whats your opinion on this? Is he right or wrong?

Well they will lose the case on the simple fact that you cant sue for security "concerns" and plus commisioner David Stern has made it very clear that they do not have the desire, time, or means to move the all-star game from New Orleans. And good point with the mardi gras connection.

I thoroughly accept as true with that reaction above me. it really is gonna be a thrilling all-star sport, sure, yet no Baron Davis, the third ranked fantasy participant interior the country. He truly leads the squaddies by each and each sport and advantages to be an all-star by a recommendations. regrettably, the balloting is only a popularity contest. optimistically the coaches would have experience and placed Baron in this one. that can make this all-star sport acceptable.
