99 civic ex 1.6L sohc d16y7 stamped on block. Head has 4 valves per cylinder but no vvt solenoids on the back corner of the head, nor is there any plugs for the solenoids on the harness. According to the local honda dealer this should be a vtec engine, going by the vin. no. I need to know how do I determine what is a vtec and what is not.

I just recently purchased an old armoire that was made by this company. Apparently they're no longer in business as I can't seem to find any info on them. I'm curious to know how old this piece is and if this company no longer exists, how long ago they shut down.

The head of the NBA players assc. says he will take the NBA to court if nesc. to move the allstar game away from New Orleans next year because he says that N.O. couldn't handle the crowd. For as long as I can remember N.O. has been hosting some of the biggest events with crowds way larger than would show up for the allstar game. Just last week it held Mardi-Gras and had several hundred thousand people in town for a couple of weeks. Whats your opinion on this? Is he right or wrong?

my new girlfreind is wonderful, but seems like she doesn't take care of herself the way other women do. she is kind of strong smelling down under. dont get me wrong, she does'nt make your nose burn or anything like that. its just that i love to go down and be very oral at times and i just cant do this because of what i smell. i really like her a lot and feel like this could become a long term thing, but this is really bugging me. could anyone give me some suggestions on how to get her to try to clean up better without hurting her feelings. i really dont want to be insulting or hurtful because i really do care for her.

have 99 volvo v70xc in exelent condition, but was overheated and driven hot until quit running (women drivers). id like to find a good low milage engine in good running condition to insall in car. if anyone has a line on one please let me know
