find how much is the difference is between the ne whole #

ex: $2.45 is 55 cents from $3 than subtract the whole # form the bill they gave you adn add the change

    EX:

    $5.36 is 64 cents from 6 and he gave you a 10 (10-6 =4 + 64)

    total back: $4.64

You would give them $8.25 back. Just count your change back. Just like this, give them a quarter that makes $12.00, then start counting your bills back to them until you reach $20.00.

Go back to your high school math teacher and ask him why you have a problem making simple change.

You can practice your math before the interview.

$8.25, but should't the cash resigter give you that or bring a pocket calculator.
