Do LPN's have DEGREES or just certification?
If they only go to school for a year to become certified am I correct in the understanding that they do not have an actual degree then? I want to get my Associates Degree as a CMA and have no qualms about later going back for LPN, I want an actual degree and not just a certification.

I am in an LPN program at a fairly large community college. Not only is it a certificate program, but when my class graduates this June, we must hold a graduation ceremony that is separate from the rest of the college. The rationale is that because we aren't technically getting a degree, we aren't technically graduating -therefore the college won't allow us to take part in the regular graduation. What a crock! ;(
