Who here knows old sitcoms? Remember.......?

In what old sitcoms did the husband and wife have separate beds? (Flintstone's do not count!)

All of them until the 70's. When All in the Family first came out, it challenged the censors, for example, prior to that time, you could not show a toilet on TV. Leave it to Beaver had an episode where they were supposed to flush a fish, but the censors wouldn't let them show the toilet. Then in the 70's, Norman Lear (the producer) changed all that.

Donna Reid, Mr. Ed, Dobey Gillis, Dennis the Menace, Patty Duke, I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke, Bewitched, and The Twilight Zone.

That's all I got right now.

The Mary Kay and Johnny Show was the first TV show in which the couple shared a bed. It was shown from 1947 to 1950 on the now defunct DuMont TV Network.

    The Dick Van Dyke show.

    I Love Lucy.

I bet the Cleavers didn't sleep together, either.

I think I love Lucy was one, and maybe the Dick Van Dyke show as well, but don't quote me on that one.
