You've already tried the two best things you can do. Other suggestions:
1- UNINSTALL WMP, reboot, and then reinstall it.
2- Check your firewall to make sure it is not blocking anything related to Launchcast.
3- Delete Temporary Internet Files and cookies related to Yahoo Music and Launchcast.
