What t should i do about my husband, and his mother coming to visit?

We live a few hours from both of our parrents, we moved in together after we were recently married. This week end we were going home to see the for the first time after the wedding, But his mom and dad changed plans and decided to come see us... poblem is that the house needs top to bottom cleaning and it is laundry day. And on top of all of that my mother just had minor surgury today and i was going to come home and help her out, etc. oh and these plans were made while my husband was at work with his mom, hence after the fact.

and he wont be home until 5...when the plan on showing up too

you need to book them a hotel and tell them that your house is not ready for guests to be staying overnight.  besides...you need your privacy with your husband at night.  if they have a problem with that then that's their problem.  it will be way to stressfull to deal with all of that with your parents staying at your house also.  not unless they would be willing to come help you clean it before they sleep there.

First, step away from the computer. Start the laundry and clean while it's in the washer. It's called multi tasking. Unless your house is a complete write off, it shouldn't take that long. If it helps, turn on the radio while you work. Also, your husband should consider your plans before making decisions with his mom. Perhaps it's time to cut the apron strings.

Maybe you should start KEEPING your house clean to start with
And if you get OFF of Yahoo, you'll get more cleaning done

Well explain to them your problems. If shes nice she will understand,and if you get real lucky she will help you clean
