Why aren't there any fat, ugly avatars?

I think most people like to picture themselves as thin and handsome. I also notice they all look like kids and that is not the kind of avatar I want. Plus they seem a little Emo and I dont want to be thought of like that at all. Thus, I remain the man with no face.

Good question for the devs.

Blndchik, if everyone looked as good as you, we would not need avatars (sure I am sucking up for the 10, but I am sincere!)

That is a good question though, something that reflects the real world cause I want mine to have a Turban on my Head :-)

people dont want to be seen as fat and ugly even if they are would u put your self as fat and ugly???

Because Yahoo has enough weight on their site already.

Because no one wants to see what I really look like.

Because on the Interweb we are ALL beautiful people.
