Ideas for fundraiser for our Veterans?

I don't want to order stuff to sell. This would be a local event and donate the money to the Veterans. I am partical to the Vietnam Vets, one for our freedom and most important my boyfriend is one and our vets are being treated bad..past..present.. and will probably carry over to our future vets

The smartest thing is to donate to an organization dedicated to the help of vets and others.....Heres something to think about ..Did you see Bob Woodruff on Letterman or on the Anderson Cooper special ? Well Wooruff is calling attention to the veterans and millions of others that are suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury...TBI

The second week of March is dedicated to brain injury awareness......So why not contact the Brain InjuryAssociation in your state donate there or join the association , and help them to help the veterans and other people like the wounded vets.....It's very responsible of you to want to help and here is a place that you can be effective......contact www.biausa.org for your state contact and begin there. This organization is great and your help is needed and always appreciated....Thanks

You could have a garage sale, with more than one family involved, and then donate the money to Vietnam Vets. If you live in a state shown on the map (link below) as having pickup service, you can also donate leftover clothes directly to Vietnam Veterans of America.

Or, depending on your resources, and anticipated attendance, you could have a show, or a very large dinner party, or an auction (live or silent bidding). I've been to a couple fund raising auctions, and to several spaghetti dinners and a couple catered dinners that were fund raisers.

Your full of crap. Our vets are the foundation of our freedom they are not treated "bad..present..and will probably carry to our future vets" (your words not mine).

Our vets are the hardest working and most successful group of individuals, bar none, in our country.

There are those few loudmouth babies who want eternal adoration and unlimited benefits for doing nothing but their duty, but they are in the minority.

End the war Brign them home and spend the money that they were going to give to Haliburten and the Carlyle Group next month on throwing them a huge tickertape parade, and giving all their children full ride scholorships. Oh yeah and then put Bush , Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice up against the wall and shoot them.

Get all your information together....example: lacking of benefits...get a bunch together....take all of it and kind of put it in the present to future vets. There are plenty of people that knows a soldier. They don't want them to suffer...Make sure it is legit. Then take it and post it all over cities. Let people in the know of the issue. The soldiers have lost a lot and the Americans have lost a lot of soldiers....don't you think they deserve more....Get going on it.

  • get a little girl, put her in the side walk in lemon aide stand, and charge each 3 bucks. you will make a lot.

or go around saying help pay donations for vets.

It shouldnt be nessisary to have this kind of thing but obvious it is. Its a sign for me that the veterans isnt payed enough for what they have done for their country. But then its just what I think.

by balloting for veterans reward and helping the elimination of all troops in harms way in an unlawful conflict in Iraq. Walter Reed health center in Washington, D.C. must be the worst position for a wounded veteran to finally end up in.So i might want to say the international locations capitol. Mccain has never voted for our veterans, except to deliver them into harms way.
