--No the Bible teaches that God is the inventor of energy. The most powerful of which is holy spirit or God's active force as is shown here in the making of universe and the earth:
(Genesis 1:1-2) 1 In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.
--Note again how He he is shown to be the personality
behind "dynamic energy"--Speaking of the celestial entities:
(Isaiah 40:26) 26 “Raise YOUR eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one [of them] is missing."
--WRITTEN some 2500 years before Einsteins, E=mc2, which equates that energy makes matter and matter makes energy--when indeed in control by Someone, that being God!

Yes because
1. It is
2. It is constant
3. It is light and light is fuel for life
No because
1. It changes
2. It can be controlled
3. It can disspiate from a system
So the answer is, God is like energy in some ways and unlike energy in other ways. The energy that is infinite and eternal is very similar to God, but the energy that changes and can be controlled (heat and cold for example) are unlike God due to their inconstancy. However, it is fair to say that God created all energy.

In classical understanding, God is *transcendent|*
This means that He is totally "other" than the universe or creation, and that no part of the universe is God, nor is no part of God the universe (as a system such as pantheism or panentheism would state)|
But He is also *immanent* which means that creation is a reflection of God and that God is infinitely close to all things - any *goodness,* *truth,* or *beauty* that we see in creation is but a reflection of the infinite goodness, truth, and beauty of God.
St. John of the Cross says that God infinitely transcends anything that we can think in this life|
He exists completely outside the categories of matter and energy that are proper to this universe|
No image of the senses or the imagination, nor any concept in the intellect can attain to Him or be a means of union with Him|
Only the passive purgations of the dark night of the soul can do that, as the soul must be *absolutely* purified so that it can be made compatible to God who is infinite purity and holiness, so that He can unite Himself to the soul.
The ultimate happiness of the soul in heaven is the *beatific vision* which is the face to face vision of God, who is infinite goodness and beauty, and who is pure and absolute intelligibility, quenching our thirst for truth completely|

I believe what the Bible says about this; that God is SOURCE of dynamic energy, not the energy itself. (Isaiah 40:26)

Yes. They believe that God is infinite. You can't have what is infinite, and then everything else...there can not be even one atom outside of the infinite, or the infinite is not infinite. So everything is part of God and God is part of everything.
Sorry about using the word "infinite" so many times...

what kind of energy are you talking about...
I for one believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.. because I'm a living proof of what He's done in my life.

umm... like sound, chemical, heat, elecrical, atomic, and mechanical energy that never dies, but always changing into a new form?
