There is nothing that can cure dried hair. It is a way of life.
Too many chemicals and products, dye, the weather, blow drying, straigtening can all cause damage hair.
What is always recommended is never to wash your hair every day. If you must, then try a shower cap, or deep condition your hair with any conditioner, but leave on for 20 minutes and then using a plastic bag or saran wrap wrap around your hair so the moisture will absorb.
Then wash it out. Also it does not hurt to put a little conditioner at the end of your tips when you go to bed at night.

When my hair was like that I used a treatment called Aphogee to get it back in shape. I got it from Sally Beauty Supply. It's like a thick conditioner that comes in a foil packet. You apply it to just washed hair, and apply heat until it gets hard (you can use a bonnet dryer or blow dryer), then rinse. You have to be very careful once it's dry, though, because your hair can break off. Once it's rinsed out, you have to use a good conditioner to follow up. I used it once a month and it really helped (I used a good conditioner on a daily basis as well). Why don't you give it a try? Aphogee makes a few products in foil packets, this one says 'treatment for damaged hair' and says on the back that it gets hard.

Ok, this is what you need to do.... Use the 5 minute Deep Conditioner from Garnier... Round Green bottle.
Don't blow dry your hair if you can...
Comb out hair when done with shower and use Garnier anti frizz serum. Really massage pea amount and comb through...
When it's dry use a cream from John Frieda on your hair.
I do this every other day. I've been a hair model for some salons and have some experience in this dept.
