I live in Akron, Ohio ... my husband and I are looking for somewhere close to go on vacation?

My family and I go to a place called Oglebay in West Virginia. (I grew up in Geauga country) This is not some hick resort either, it's lovely, cabins and villas for rent or a lovely lodge.

Lots to do, inside and outside. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something fun, different and not too far away. I linked the site for you.

It's not near the beach, but it's so beautiful in the mountains and there is a lot for kids and adults to do here, and really close to Akron, but far enough away that you feel like you are on vacation.

Just getting out of Akron for 4 days is vacation enough!

Akron and Stow are perfect next to one yet another. Knock on your neighbors door and demand they set you up a impomtu bed and breakfast with all the trimmings and if the decline make their life hell! Leave trash in their yard, when they aren't looking steal their newspaper, ya know things like that.
