How much weight did you gain - and how fast?

I'm about 5'4 ... pre-pregnancy I was about 128lbs.

I'm 22 weeks pregnant - and have gained about 5-7lbs.

Is this too little? All the books I've read said that I should be about 13lbs heavier - and gaining 1lb per week from here on out... ?

I go to the doctor again on Friday - I'm sure they'll yell at me for not gaining... what do you think?

I DO eat ... like 10 times a day... just not huge meals, and not ding-dongs lol.

This is my first pregnancy. I am 22 years old.

I've heard it as a last name before - but never a first name. Do you think it sounds like an African American name??

Breakfast

1 large bagel w/ peanut butter, large glass of milk

1 small cup of coffee

Lunch

Large salad w/ chicken, bacon, egg, beets, cucumbers, carrots, tomatos, italian dressing

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1/2 cup fruit - apples/cantelope/grapes

bottle of water

I'll probably have a snack when I get home from work - something along the lines of a PB&J and a yogurt...

Dinner

Macaroni and Cheese

Big bowl of strawberries

I have a very busy schedule - so its hard for me to eat a large dinner.

How does this look? ..

I am 20.5 weeks pregnant - and have only gained a total of about 2 or 3 lbs. My pre-pregnancy wieght was 128lbs and I am 5'4" (pretty average)

My midwife was giving me a hard time at my last check up - telling me that I NEED to gain wieght. (I don't think so, nor do I care for the midwives - but thats a whole 'nother story lol)

Is drinking something like a Slimfast or Ensure safe during pregnancy - If I am drinking them in addition to my regular meals?

Any other ideas?

I will be 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant.... I already had a vaginal ultrasound (this was at 10 weeks, 4 days) ... This is just my 20 week scan - When I scheduled the appt they didn't say anything about having to have a full bladder.... I was just curious...

We can only get away for 4 days at a time... I suppose we could go stay somewhere on Lake Erie - but I just wondered if anyone had any other ideas... surrounding states? I normally think of the ocean when I think of vacation... Any help would be greatly appreciated... we hope to go somewhere near the 4th of July week... :)

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant... and I work 44 hours a week (avarage) ... and I have class 20 hours a week (in the evenings) ... with about 6 hours drive time per week......

I have the weekends off......

I just had my first appt - and the midwife told me that it was fine to drink pop (even diet pop) in moderation during pregnancy... I am pretty well addicted to diet pepsi - but stopped drinking it the second I found out I was pregnant... but have started again since the midwife said it was ok. I only plan to drink 1-3 cans per week.

What did your doctor/midwife tell you about diet sodas?
