I cannot believe that you have enough energy to do it all. Do as much as you can COMFORTABLY. If you find that you are feeling sleepy in the car durring your commutes the slow down. The last thing that you need is to become rundown. Maybe finish up this semester and take the summer semester off.

It all depends on how you feel. If your body feels tired and you are quite drowsy through out the day, then I would say yes. As a pregnant women when your body tells you it is time to rest it is best you do so. You do not want to over due things and run the risk of preterm labor or other health consequences. It is best to also check with your doctor.
I understand your concern though, I work on my feet all day and I am 34 weeks pregnant. People constantly say to me I can't believe you are still working or why aren't you on maternity leave yet.
I think it is silly. I have cut back my hours a great deal and if this gets to be too much I will cut back more, but I think some activity is good for you and so does my doctor.
As you progress into your pregnancy, I am positive your schedule will get to be too much for you, so plan ahead.
Good luck with your pregnancy.

I'm 15 weeks.
I work 44 hours a week, and commute 1 hour each way each day. I get up at 5 every day to get to work by 7. After work 2 nights a week I teach a class for 2 hours 2 nights a week, which requires about 4 hours prep for every hour I'm in class, and class is about 1.5 hours from my home and work. I also go to the gym for 1 hour each day to work out. I'm home by 5 on non-teaching nights and then I grocery shop, cook dinner, and clean up the previous night's meal mess. On teaching nights, I'm home by 9:30.
On the weekends, I catch up on housework and I've been working to get the nursery complete.
It's a lot, yes. But, my baby's perfectly healthy, and I feel great, although a little tired at times. I think as long as you are getting by, it will only make you stronger for when the baby comes and you'll have yet another ball to juggle.

Some its too much, some not enough, some ok. The only answer to this is, do you feel its to much? I worked 44 hours a week, night shift, and was busying during the day doing errands, cleaning, laundry, barely got sleep, and I worked till I was 8 months pregnant, was it to much for me?? NO I enjoyed it, and thats what I was use to doing, so I didn't change anything. Being pregnant does not mean you have to stop doing what you do, doesn't mean you have to sit on the couch and relax all day. You just have to make sure your eating lots, getting your rest, and just taking care of yourself. Your going to be fine. Don't stress over the little things.

Right now you are probably ok, but as you get further along this schedule is going to wear on you. The bigger the baby gets the less energy you have. You will probably need to cut back on work some. I worked between 40 and 45 hrs a week while pregnant but I wasn't going to school.

That rounds out to about 14 hours a day!!!! Girl, you need to slow down relax and get your Dr to write a note for your work that you need more then just weekends off.
How can you sleep properly and DO HOMEWORK with only 10 hours left in your day?????

You are really doing alot. However, as your pregnancy progresses you will have to slow down. That baby will get very heavy and you will be more tired. I think that it is best to get some rest before the baby comes because there will be many sleepless night once it arrives.

Possibly, but that depends on how physical your job and classes are. If all you do is sit at a desk, it shouldn't be a big deal. But if you're concerned about wearing out, you might consider trying to cut back somewhere. Talk to your dr to be sure.

nah....you're still very early in the pregnancy!! eventually you will probaby have to cut back on things but for now you're fine. i worked A LOT when i was pregnant with both of my babies and the only concern that my doc had was pre term labor since i was a waitress and was on my feet for 13 hours a day. but neither of them were early and they were both healthy and normal.

Well i will tell you it can be done but i would only do it as long as DR says its ok cause i did alot when i was preg with my daughter and i ended up having her almost a month early. Just dont forget to take time for yourself.
