adoption...anyone adopt a baby & have advice...?
any one in here ever adopt a baby through Catholic Charities? If so could you give me some idea about your experience?

Although we didn't use Catholic Charities, we did adopt within the US using a local adoption agency. My only advice is to always remember that adoption is a journey. There will be rough roads along the way, but they are all worth it when you finally get to look in your child's eyes!

a couple years ago, my aunt and uncle adopted a baby from russia. my advice is to raise the child knowing that they were adopted. this way, you can avoid them finding out they were adopted and having to deal with a huge drama-fest.
