Holiday price - Why dont they just include the fuel charge ???

Why do the holiday companies advertise there prices so low then when you go to the checkout they add another £200 on or more??

I know this is fuel supplement and various other charges but why dont they just include them in the price??? They wont be false advertising then??

Update:

We should start a online petition and get it stopped!

:)

Update 2:

To Sanmigsean's - - - - - I know the fuel charge can change ... but it wont by much so why dont they just estimate for it . Thicko DUH

I would rather it was included and then you could kind of forget about all the extras you pay for if you were just quoted the end, total price.

    It's false advertising. Full stop.

If I see one more internet pop-up ad telling me I'm the millionth customer and would i like a free laptop, I'm gonna shoot someone.

I think this sort of advertising dis-credits the company in the long run.

I agree with you on this 100%.

Because the fuel surcharge can change between the time you pay for the holiday and actually leave. Duh.
