    Get him something that he will remember the event with.

    Doing something for him is nice (to him is nicer), but a physical object is something he will look back on and remember the day.

    Any electronic he doesn't have and you don't think he would buy for himself. My man is 27 and told me electronics are always the best bet for his gifts.
