What color /consistency is his regular stool is it possiblehe has lots of gas with a little diahrrea mixed in?.
Most likely it appears to me that he may have some anal gland leakage going on. Have you noticed a foul odor at all? I mean other than fecal odor.
Anal gland leakage has a very foul odor.
Talk to your vet about maybe having his sacs expressed.

he maybe eating grass you may want to take him to the vet and see what's upsetting his belly he may be allergic to something in the dog food you're feeding him
