    because when ur in a movie ur famous, sometimes wen ur famous u buy lots and lots of wonderful drugs, then u goto rehab or die, then if u do a comebak and the drugs have left ur face lookin so smacked up u cant land a role in a movie u play a bum in a tv show, then theres a re run of ur movie so ur on a tv show and a movie at the same time

    That phrase dates back to when TVs were very small and people could not fit inside them. Now that we have giant 60 inch screens people can finally be IN TV.

    Unless it's a flat panel TV, they you are stuck on the outside again.

    Unfortunately, I don't have your answer, and

    it really doesn't seem like anyone else does either.

    The reason I respond -- is because now,

    I've also become curious and wish someone

    did have an answer that sounded like it was real

    or true. Maybe extend your question, and I will do

    a little research to find out ... just a thought!

    You are an actor/actress that has been inducted into a movie roll and when it is shown on the tv....then you are on tv...why?

    because you have to be good to be "in" a movie. "In" could represent like the "in" crowd. You don't have to be any good to be on tv.

    B) a home video
