Political solution for the Middle East?
The Saudis have threatened to lend political support to the Sunni insurgency in the current sectarian struggle in Iraq. This is because the Saudis depend heavily on support from the Wahabi, an Islamic fundamentalist movement with strong ties to Al Queda. Which is odd, since Al Queda's top priority right now is overthrowing the Saudi monarchy. On the other side is the Shi'ite insurgency, supported by the Ayatollah in Iran and Hasbullah in Lebanon, both committed to the violent overthrow of Israel, our other ally in the Middle East. So the playing field is filled with literally dozens of groups who are committed to each other's violent end, and who are willing to ally with us only in so far as we support their immediate agenda: killing somebody else. Does anybody seriously think there's a political solution in there somewhere?
Here's my solution: create a sea of radioactive glass from Casablanca to Islamabad. That's right, glass; it's what happens when sand gets really, really hot.
Either push The Button and get it over with, or get the hell out of the region and quit pretending like we've got a pair.
Roshni: Thanks for answering, but I think you missed the point. Arabs have been fighting since long before the US occupation of Iraq. Are you going to claim that the Sunni-Shi'ite conflict is the Americans' fault, too?
What I'm saying is that it would be in America's best interests to permanently "neutralize" the threat posed by escalating violence and terrorism in the Middle East. And it might be in your own best interests, too. We'll call it a Holy War - that way all the Muslims who die from the ensuing nuclear winter will go straight to heaven and receive a bunch of virgins, right?

First of all Saudi governament is not in power to threat your country though they have 20% share in your economy for thier money deposited in your banks......what a pitty that Saudi peoples have to deposit their money in American banks as they can not not keep that all in thier own country, and thanx to american hold' for this to happen! I must admit your governament is very smart.......Now second share is that of Jews, So you can not make them angry becuase they do not take orderes from US like Saudis Do ! but anyway, both countries owe alot to you.
Now Wahabis is a group of peoples there called Salafe as well who are working under Saudi king and they can give their lives for him, so they "take" ordered from King and can not "give' order at all. They are kind of dummies.......and Al-Qaeda?? So Alqaeda is an independant organization and it has no hold in Saudi Arabia, If they had, They would have kicked the American out of it long ago then they could think of Saidi monarchry! You have mentioned everything upside down dear !
Very Simple solution to all these problems is as you are bothered about it much, Why your governament just keep its hand off the middle east and let the peoples live their own life? why are you ther on first place?any valid reason of your presence there except OIL, to hell with this oil which had made you people invade that place and make it even worse...Don't you realize the middle east got even worse after American invasion of Iraq and now threats to Iran?
what you do it, first stop backing the evil acts of Israel and let the UN treat them accordingly!
draw your army back to your country and leave Iraq decide on their own and i m sure they would think of them better than you !
There are conlficts in every country but it get worse when shown fire by some "hidden" hand for their politics....and i m sure if America get itself out of their , they would be able to think of them better with their own mind .
See man! first hinderness to peace in middle east is America then anyone else !
Source(s): Edit: Now thats a dangerous solution man as i fear this would not be One sided neutrilization as there are few countries with nuclear power in this area too.....No?? and they can strike back and virgins... so i can just say 'LOL' , Man thats a myth,No virgins would be given in heaven.....as God is merciful enough not to let them suffer from that Many Women ;) - Anonymous1 decade ago
A political solution is possible if and only if both sides of the problem want a political solution. Unfortunately, Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO, and other ist orginizations don't want one.
