Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,?
Today I picked up at Bank of America several of the new $1.00 coins with the picture of George Washington on it. To my shock and dismay the words, "In God We Trust", are not on this coin! A quick search of the other coin denominations in my collection confirmed that every one contained these faithful words. The new George Washington $1.00 coin is the first money ever issued by the USA in modern history without the words "In God We Trust". By omitting these words, our politically correct, secularist leaders made a conscientious decision that either; 1) God does not exist, or 2) that God exists, but can no longer be trusted. I am personally offended and fed up with the denigration of God and Christianity in my country. I am certain George Washington would never have agreed to his picture on the coin if it any way diminished faith in God. What can we do to show our displeasure? First of all, let's boycott the coin. Do not ask for it at banks. If it is given to you in change ask for dollar bills instead and tell the person why. Write your Senators stating your displeasure. Finally, if you agree, pass this e-mail on to others. Collectively, we must send a strong message to those secularists who are trying to remove God from our culture. If we do this, some 300 million $1.00 coins will back up and rot in the supply chain! To God be the glory!

I think that I , also, agree with some of your answers that it was a printing error BUT here I go with a conspiracy theory. Someone please tell me how they could Legitimately FORGET to stamp on those coins "In God We Trust"??? I mean , think about it. There has NEVER been coin or paper that did not have that printed on it. Are you going to tell me that ALL the inspectors and PROOFS were not noticed of the mistake. I just can not believe that it was a SIMPLE MISTAKE. SOME ONE WAS TRYING TO MAKE A POINT.

Look around the edges of the coin.....I heard they moved In God we trust. However it's still there.
Snopes (listed as my source) has a picture...Look at the picture all the way down at the bottom, It shows where it is on the new coins.

Words on a coin are the deeds of those in charge. I will still use American dollars to further the gospel. I could care less what it says or what it does not say. In the case of the new $1 coins, I will refuse to use them--but in perspective, it is a minor thing compared to what is to come.

You are very lucky to have these coins. It was a printing error, I heard about it on the news. They will be worth way more than a dollar if you save them!

You are fibbing. Sorry - but those coins with the typos were NEVER released. If you do have one (which you do NOT) - they are worth a small fortune already (ever hear of the airmail stamp with the upside-down biplane???)
If you got the real coins....check the edge - the "In God We Trust" is on the edge of the coin.

let it be, sister. let's concentrate on spreading the message of Jesus instead. the sordid topic of coins is of this world and is a waste of time for Christians to dwell on. all this move toward secularism is part of what God envisioned, which will lead to the fruition of His intent.

WOW they are seeing the light at last. Whatever are you going to do now you don't have "In god we trust" on one of you're coins.
We have Charles Darwin on the back of our £10 notes so you really wouldn't like that would you. That would really give you something to complain about.

You should boycott the legal system since it does no follow Gods laws but mans laws.
