Do dragonflies only hover over stagnant bodies of water?
Would dragonflies be found hovering over moving bodies of water, such as rivers and streams? Or are they only found hovering over still ponds and pools?

dragonflies do hover over movie bodies of water, i've seen some
BUT they most likely hover over ponds and pools or other areas where mosquitoes and their food is found

dragonflies go whereever they want, over water or dry land they'll hove rif they want to. usually they're too busy zipping around eating any little bugs they can catch though, so i guess the answer is no they don't only hover over stagnant bodies of water

They hover over other bodies of water & also some land. They eat mosquitoes, among other insects.

you should sit by cleaner ponds
