Old and retired parents are often neglected and become vulnerable to the sins of society. How you want to do?
Morning news are often disturbing to find some old couple in a metro are murdered. What a shame! When India boasts to be one of the greatest nation to have been the best in family values. We often make our parents God to ourselves to put them in a corner when we keep them with us. Often we leave them in a fairly good house and provide them enough to live. But are they living with the love they deserve from us?

There should be a community hall where old / retired can play / express in all seasons. It should be open from 9 am to 7 p.m. so that retired can go to 2nd home to kill the time.

Yes I agree with you. A good house and money will not suffice, what they need is our love and our participation in their life.
The other thing that bugs me is this: In India, a man is responsible for taking care of his parents in their old age but a woman (who has no brothers) is not responsible for taking care of her parents in their old age. Most of the men oppose that and thats really unfair. Don't they deserve our love and affection also.
